IJOS takes customer privacy very seriously and does not pass on any information to a third party. IJOS members have an exception which is discussed before membership as IJOS members benefit when we give our suppliers sourcing details to them and visa versa for benefits of business exposure and sales via IJOS platform.
Our database of name and email addresses has been built from customer purchases online, or social platform and order forms, and for IJOS members when they filled out IJOS clarity form, members' registration form and withdrawal forms, during the IJOS club membership program. Via our Google form and website sign up form, or if you have contacted us stating you would like to be kept informed of our offers and events or when you have connected intending to do business and partner with us.

We use a GDPR compliant marketing platform Mailchimp for our mailing list. This is only used to contact you for marketing purposes, if we have a sale, event or are launching a new collection. Emails from the Contact Enquiry Form

Our Contact Enquiry Form and our Clarity Form is a simple way for you to send us details of the service you require from us or to sign up to our mailing list. The information provided is only used by IJOS personnel for responding to your enquiry or adding you to our marketing emails (if this is what you have requested). Only IJOS team will process this information to respond to enquiries related to IJOS marketplace orders and IJOS club members interactions during membership, and information is safe and secure. We never send unsolicited emails to our clients, and will only contact you concerning any services you request from us. Emails are only backed up onto local disk drives and are not accessible to anyone who is not part of IJOS as a company. We do not share details with any external parties other than IJOS business-related unless we receive IJOS club members' permission to do so (such as when forwarding on a message at their request for business benefits)

Invoice System

During order fulfilment, we take in order forms and hold names, consignee addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses from our clients on our online invoice system. This is only used for accounting and tax purposes. Under the GDPR we are not required to ask for consent to send invoices and other transactional emails to customers. We only use this personal information internally and do not share any information with other businesses or for marketing reasons. Our invoice is locked away securely every day.

The ‘Right to Be Forgotten

’Under the new GDPR, individuals can now request the ‘right to erasure’. If for any reason you’d like to have your personal data removed from our systems, it is your legal right to request this and for us to comply within 1 month.
